One function of our eyelashes is to add to the beauty of our eyes, which enhances the face of an individual. They are very decorative. Without eyelashes an individual is not only more vulnerable to possible injury, but the face seems to be distorted to some extent as well. The eyelashes are one of the "benchmarks" of the face that we expect to see.
While curling and mascara can not make them longer, false eyelashes can actually do that. Start by taking the fake eyelashes and cutting them to the size of the eye. Cut them carefully, until they fit the width of the eye. I prefer to cut the length of the lashes a little, but if you cut to much the ends too are not naturally shaped and appear obviously false.
I have always been haunted by the end of the lashes. All I can do to thicken my lashes or make them appear thicker, I do. One of these things is called tightlining. Tightlining, as its name suggests, involves lining your eyes with eyeliner tighter than regular (from top) applications of eyeliner. Tightlining with eyeliner, is pushed to the lashes, creating a much more natural look.
Finally, apply mascara. If the base of the false eyelashes do not line your natural lashes, use the eyeliner to disguise the gap as well. Then, apply mascara to your lashes. Be careful while applying the mascara, because you can undo the glue with too much pressure. It helps to keep your finger on the other side of the falsie (do not use one with glue on it!).
If you've done everything right, the bases of your lashes appear to be darker. After adding mascara in the mix, I can see my eyelashes, which is surprising in itself.
False eyelashes are more than just simple accessories. By improving a part of you that you are less than completely satisfied with you are removing a source of potential insecurity. This will show itself in improved interactions with others due to the boost in your self-confidence.
